Repurposed for Art

"Creativity is making marvelous out of the discarded."

You know those little notepads with the cute covers and the little illustrations - LOVE them. I have so many it'll take me a year or more to use all of them. And I do use them.

What I have a hard time with is throwing the covers away when all the paper is gone. They're too pretty or cute. Just look at the photo above. There's glitter on the pineapple leaves and a gem on the kitty's bow. Surely I could reuse these and give them a second life - and another round of enjoyment for myself.

I have found a way to do just that by turning them into art pieces. Some will become part of a wild mixed media project - I can see that happening with the pink kitty - while others will become something classic and beautiful, like the photos below.

I'm pretty excited to repurpose some more items for art.
