I have lived in the Florida Panhandle for over 25 years and I have never driven the hour and a half to Watercolor, Florida and the beaches along Hwy 30A (between Destin and Panama City Beach). This is a treasure I had no idea existed, and I am so glad I was able to experience.

Alys Beach
Alys Beach was like a dream. I have never been anywhere like it. Everything was so clean and beautiful and cohesive.
Expect to see some future artwork derived from these and other photos.
These are just a pin prick of photos taken on my trip, and they don't even come close to doing justice to what it was really like. If you get a chance, travel along 30A, stay at one of the beaches for awhile, enjoy the sunshine, eat good food, go on bike rides, walk hiking trails, and dip into water activities. It's worth it, you're worth it!
