This is it! The last batch in my 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge. What a month it has been.
The past 30 days have been filled with emotions running from "I love this!" to "I don't feel it." But it has been so worth it for so many reasons. I stuck to the challenge, even on days I didn't want to. I played with mediums I would have put off for "later" when I had more time. I learned a few new techniques. I painted whatever I felt like. I allowed vulnerability, especially with the paintings that didn't turn out so great. This challenge has been good for me in so many ways.
Now, let's get to the last set of paintings.

It doesn't matter how old I get, I cannot resist a swing. There's something so freeing about flying high in the air with your feet dangling and the wind blowing across your face. It's just fun. I hope this little work of art brings back some good memories and a smile to your face. And the next time you pass a park, hop on a swing.

I love the glamour of past eras. My favorite time periods are the 1920s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, and 1980s.
This painting reminds me of a lady dressed to go on a date to the theatre with her beau back in the late 1940s or in the 1950s. Such class and style.

Guys, this was not supposed to turn out like this, lol. There was only supposed to be a small tree and a couple of bushes to the left and as I painted it kept growing and growing. It was like I was watering it with my paint brush and it got healthier and healthier, so I just went with it. And now you see before you a lot of greenery!

I am a big fan of the show Friends. I watched it every week with my mom and we laughed so hard. I mean tears running down my face, no sound coming out of my mouth belly laughter. Every once in a while there comes a show that does that to you, and that still makes you laugh decades after it's been off the air. Friends is one of those for me.

I'm heading back to long ago decades with this 1950s clock radio. To me, they're a thing of beauty. The music that came out of their small speaker (jazz anyone), the clock faces, the colors...everything about them makes me smile. It also helps that my grandparents had one similar to this so when I see it, it brings back memories of them.

It won't be long and the leaves will start changing color, the air will feel a little cooler, marshmallows in cups of cocoa will be your go-to drink while you curl under a blanket and watch a movie. I can't wait. My favorite season is on its way. I heart you, Fall!
